1st Meeting

Welcome!

Dear Colleagues, we heartily invite you to the 1st Meeting of the Society Mollusc Research Austria (MoFA) which will be held from 26th -27th June 2019 in Salzburg, Austria.
Besides the scientific program with talks and posters on 26th June at the “Haus der Natur” in Salzburg, we plan a field excursion in the surroundings of Salzburg on 27th June. Enough time shall remain for discussions and scientific exchange. We hope to attract scientists at all stages of their scientific career to promote their networking. Contributions from all fields of malacology are welcome!

Conference language is English.

Registration

Deadline for registration and abstract submission: 30th April 2019

Contribution to expenses (e.g., coffee breaks, abstract book): MoFA members: EUR 15.-, non-members: EUR 20.-
For registration, please send an email to team@molluskenforschung.at with the following information:
• participation scientific day / participation excursion
• intended presentation (talk/poster/none)

Please prepare the abstract for your contribution as a word file according to the template abstract and send it to team@molluskenforschung.at
Please send also the intended type of contribution (talk or poster: preferred poster format: roughly DIN A0, i.e., ca. 85 x 119 cm, portrait format).

MoFA-Junior Award

During the annual meeting the MoFA Junior Award for the best oral presentation and the best poster of participants in early career stages (for example Master, PhD) will be awarded. The prize is awarded by the society “Mollusc Research Austria” and the prize money is EUR 300 .- plus one year membership of MoFA.
